It is cast in the form of a sheep standing on all four and looking forward. The body of the sheep shows details of the sheep's curly fur. The piece also shows its ears and details of its face. The sheep's face is black in color as are his hoofs. The bank is made of two halves held together with a screw. It has the coin slot on the back behind its head. See page 90 of Andy and Susan Moore's book "The Penny Bank Book; Collecting Still Banks" Published by Schiffer Books, of Exton, PA in 1984 for a similar example.
