Well done, beautifully hand carved pre 1800 Chinese terracotta jug. Possibly for water, wine or rice. Two very high relief Koi with carved Greek Key at the top and bottom. The bottom edge and the bottom has some nicks and chips. On the body itself, I see no nicks, chips, or cracks. It has been lovenly taken care of for many centuries. No scratches or gouges. No stains or discoloration. No glued repairs. This vessel is large, approximately 13 1/4" in height and approximately 11 1/2" in diameter. It is also heavy and will require what the post office deems an oversized box. This and weight makes shipping expensive. Returns are accepted only if I have not accurately described the item.
